According to the report posted to the web Tuesday, 24-year-old Mark Sanchez and his 19-year-old brother were arrested Oct. 1 – five years to the day after Glen Willey and his son, Jesse Willey, were attacked in a parking lot in the 3300 block of North Galloway Avenue near the intersection with Town East Boulevard.

The father and the son were taken to Baylor University Medical Center in Dallas, where Glen Willey died as a result of blunt force injuries.

The younger brother’s name has not been released because he was a juvenile at the time of the assault on the Willeys.

Sanchez is being held in the county jail with his bail set at $500,000. His brother was transferred a week ago to the county jail from a juvenile facility. The elder Sanchez had previously pleaded guilty in August 2011 to assault charges and had been sentenced to a year of probation, according to county records. That probation had been revoked on March 21 following his arrest on another assault charge that resulted in his arrest in February.
